Project description
The goal of this major project in Ibbenbüren was to significantly enhance traffic safety at the Glücksburger Straße level crossing, which had previously been a high-accident hotspot.
The optimized track layout now provides clear and safe conditions: the road features two separate lanes, aligned almost perpendicular to the tracks, greatly improving visibility and clarity. Separate, secure crossings have been created specifically for cyclists and pedestrians.
High-quality system solutions for six crossings: Various STRAIL systems were combined to meet the different requirements: Four separate cycle and crosswalks: the specially designed pede panels were used here in combination with ponti outer panels. Two level crossings: Equipped with the proven, robust strail and ponti level crossing plates.
