Built for durability: A key arterial level crossing upgraded with strail

Venice — a critical hub in the region’s logistics network — now benefits from a future-proof solution at one of its most vital traffic points.

Recently, we successfully outfitted a heavily trafficked level crossing on one of Venice’s main arteries with our proven strail system. This key route handles a substantial daily volume of truck traffic and remains essential to the city’s transportation network.

The goal of this project was clearly defined: The infrastructure not only had to be modernized, but also a durable, resistant solution had to be created that could withstand the extreme loads in the long term.
This is where our system was able to fully demonstrate its strengths. The strail system is characterized by its outstanding resistance and durability. It is specially designed for such intensive use and minimizes future maintenance work. In addition, the modular design enabled extremely efficient and fast installation, minimizing disruption to traffic on this critical axis.

The outcome: long-term traffic safety and a smooth, streamlined flow for Venice’s logistics network.
