Ecological excellence: STRAILway secures the “Pont Bleu” over the Drôme
As part of the €70 million refurbishment of the Livron–Aspres line, SNCF Réseau faced an environmental challenge: the ‘Pont Bleu’ spans a strictly protected nature reserve. The solution for maximum water protection and technical precision were STRAILway polymer sleepers.
Follow-up project in Hungary: GYSEV once again relies on STRAILway for bridge refurbishment
Building on their successful experience since 2020, Hungary’s GYSEV ZRt. once again turned to STRAILway for the refurbishment of the Répcelak tidal channel bridge. In May 2023, aging wooden bridge sleepers were replaced with the durable, modern polymer solution.
STRAILway replaces wooden sleepers in steelworks
Extreme loads of 15 million gross tons per year and maintenance-intensive wooden sleepers posed major challenges for the plant railway at Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH. The solution: the all-inclusive, worry-free STRAILway polymer sleeper package – in service since 2018 and still in outstanding condition.
Polymer sleepers in Loucna stand out for their easy handling
The first installation of STRAILway polymer sleepers in the Czech Republic took place in Loucna. This project involved replacing old wooden turnout sleepers. The quick, uncomplicated installation of the polymer sleepers and their attractive, high-quality design impressed the client and the railroad and public utility managers involved.
