ponti
Adaptive outer panel for dynamic track positions
ponti was specifically developed for level crossings subject to frequent track position changes—such as those caused by regular track maintenance. The outer panel system adapts flexibly to horizontal movements while providing a stable, safe surface. This makes ponti ideal for heavily used crossings, industrial tracks, and complex installation scenarios. Its hybrid construction, combining rubber panels and aluminum beams, offers both flexibility and high load-bearing capacity. As a result, the system remains fully functional over time with minimal maintenance. Existing STRAIL systems can be easily upgraded.

Stability for demanding transition areas
ponti is especially suitable for level crossings where the track superstructure is regularly worked on or tamped, such as during cyclical maintenance, on damp foundations, or in heavily loaded sections. The system responds reliably to lateral track movements while maintaining the functionality of the entire crossing. It is therefore ideal for challenging track sections with uneven settlement or varying temperature loads. Even under repeated heavy traffic, the construction remains dimensionally stable and load-bearing.

Easy retrofitting and system integration
As a modular addition to existing STRAIL systems, ponti can be retrofitted—especially in the 713 mm beam variant—with minimal adjustments. The hybrid design ensures even load distribution without localized overloading of the ballast. Whether as a solution for retrofitting, factory entrances, or high-traffic sections with regular maintenance cycles, ponti provides a resilient outer panel system for modern rail infrastructure. The system is low-maintenance and continues to meet operational requirements for safety and long-term performance.
