      At the Port of Antwerp, one of Europe\u2019s largest cargo hubs, massive volumes of freight are moved every day. The enormous port cranes used for loading operations require a robust rail system integrated directly into the quay. Depending on the crane size, the rails are set into concrete recesses, which in some areas are as deep as 55 centimeters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      While these deep recesses provide the cranes with the necessary freedom of movement, they create a significant obstacle for other road users\u2014ranging from logistics vehicles to pedestrians. They limit accessibility, increase the risk of accidents, and potentially disrupt logistics operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
