      In the tunnels of the Milan metro, a safe and reliable evacuation route for passengers in emergencies (such as accidents or technical failures) as well as easy access to the nearest metro station was required. To meet this safety requirement, 24 pede level crossings were integrated into the network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • The pede elements serve as a reliable escape route, allowing passengers to quickly and safely evacuate trains in an emergency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Particularly noteworthy is the special design of the crossings with a flame-retardant rubber surface, which makes a crucial contribution to tunnel safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The system was also adapted to the very specific superstructure of the Milan Metro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        The installation of pede crossings in Milan offers several advantages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
